1. What are the different types of memberships and their benefits?
There are 3 types of memberships currently available.
Corporate Members:
Applicable for any company utilizing the BEC criteria, applying for awards, and participating in GEE events. Fully paid corporate members receive free BEC provision, discounted award application fees, and event charges. Access to periodic publications and privileged access to all members’ facilities. Each corporate member can nominate 10 employees annually for various programs.
BEC Expert:
Meant for specialized personnel/companies with expertise in Benchmarking in Excellence. Membership is free and includes participation in criteria document development, nominations for assessments and training related to BEC. Expert members are recognized partners with GEE for training and assessments.
Individual Members:
For individuals not fitting into the above 2 criteria. Paid-up members with access to free BEC copies and discounted rates for training, conferences, and events.
2. How do I apply for a membership and what are the requirements?
Please write to info@ge-excellence.org to secure a membership form.
Corporate:
Fill the form, provide required supporting details, and proof of legal entity status.
Pay the requisite fee for SME or large corporations.
BEC Expert:
Fill the form, provide CV, and identity proof.
Expert membership is free, subjected to scrutiny by the expert panel.
Individual Members:
Fill out the form, provide identity proof, and pay the requisite fees.
3. What is the validity of these memberships?
Corporate and Individual memberships: 1, 3, 5, 10 years, or lifetime.
BEC Expert Memberships Permanent, subject to discontinuation for professional misconduct or withdrawal.
4. What are the charges for these memberships? (All figures in USD)

5. Are my company or personal details safe with GEE?
GEE ensures data security following legal provisions. Details provided for membership are not shared for any purpose except as legally required.
6. If GEE is charging fees, how can it be a not-for-profit organization?
GEE charges fees to cover operating costs. It remains committed to giving back to the industry through free initiatives like training, conferences, awards, and scholarships. Accounts are open for audit by any interested party.
